Learning about Positional Language

We are learning about positional language.

Who is climbing up the ladder?

How many steps did they climb?

Where is Archie?

Who is under the wheel?

Who is on top of the pirate ship?

Where do you think Jack is going?

What is Will about to do?

What is Melody trying to do?

Pataitai Learning

During Pataitai time at the nature discovery table there is a big basket of shells for us to make an art display.

Zavier and Archie worked for an hour to order all of the shells from biggest to smallest and in order of smoothness, shape and colour. When they had finished their line they added detail by making tentacles hanging off the line to make an octopus. What a great imagination boys and a whole lot of learning.

Our Magic Bean

Our inquiry learning focus this term is all about what plants do. After reading the story of Jack and the Bean stalk we decided to plant our own magic beans to see what they will grow into. We discussed what seeds need to grow to make sure our magic bean would survive and grow up big and strong.
We are using our imagination to think about all the diffent things our magic bean could grow into. We can't wait to see what they will look like. Do you have an idea?
Please leave a comment for us to read.
