Celebrating our learning at assembly

We began our assembly singing a song to celebrate the letter c. We played our ukelele on the chord of c and sung 'c is for cookie' by the cookie monster. It is our favourite song at the moment. For our inquiry learning, investigating night and day, we created our own nocturnal animals. We had to find out how animals survive in the dark and look at the features they need. We made our own nocturnal animal and wrote some fantastic stories about them. It is very scary for us to get up infront of five other classrooms and all of the parents and family. We were brave and we did our best. We are very proud of ourselves and it felt really good afterwards.
